Paiement served as guest conductor at Dallas Opera in March 2012, for Peter Maxwell Davies' The Lighthouse, featured in their new Chamber Opera series.

Paiement guest conducted the Suwon Philharmonic Orchestra on the 14th of September In the world premiere of five symphonic works: Durée by Hyun-ju Lee; Kiklos by Sunghi Hong; Accumulation in Dispersion by Yanghee Kim; Ragnarök by Seunghee Suh; Rustlings by Gui Sook Lee.

Paiement also conducted the Hollywood Bowl Orchestra last summerin an Hommage to Jobim, featuring world famous musicians that include Oscar Castro Neves, Gal Costa, Eliane Elias, Ivan Lins, Dianne Reeves Listen, Luciana Souza, Paulinho Jobim, Daniel Jobim, Gretchen Parlato
